Envy
My husband used to be a doll collector before. He collected mostly antique doll and baby doll.
Then he stopped collecting for nearly 5 years now. He never imagined when we got married that I become a doll collector. Life is strange, things work out in a very funny way. Sometime, we can see that it's like a pattern in life. Uhm...Anyway, talking about jealousy.
My husband told me "Doll people is very nice. They're very helpful to you. But as soon as your collection is better than them, they hate you forever"! hehehe So funny! As soon as he said that, I immediately reflect on myself. Since we all go through the "jealousy" period in our life, we all know how it feel and how to make other feel the pain :D Yes, I do feel irritated when someone have better collection than mine. But that doesn't mean I hate them :D hehe I'm trying! No, not really, I don't really feel that way so much anymore. It just give me a stronger sense of "making statement". Like ... "We'll see who loves momoko more"...kind of feeling! :D Awww, I'm so childish! hehe But I love the way I am :D
Awww, how I love talking those "sensitive" topic so much!!! Just try to be provokative! :D It's fun!! Sometime you need to parody yourself in order to laugh and move on.
By the way, I love to know how I feel. I know the pain, the ugliness of jealousy and envy over someone else momoko. But trust me, those feeling seems so positive to me. Driven!! :D
It's a creative process more than a competition to me.

Just went to a lecture about the history of fashion and consumerism. It was so fascinated! It remind me not to look at the world as black and white, good and evil. Life is not that simple as we want it to be! We tend to see thing in that way and it really stop us to see a bigger picture.

Thank you for writing about jealousy. I know sometimes someone gets something that I have coveted for a long while and I am so jealous. I just have to tell myself to be patient and one will come my way, eventually. Your post makes me see I can just laugh at myself for being silly about these things.

^^ We all are going through these time. Just the matter of showing it or not :D Most of the time, I'm showing it by buying much more than I need and it's so bad of me to do that.
